I too would like to see if anyone has a review. I almost always direct tie to the lure but sometimes when using jerk baits the braid hangs up behind or around the jerk bait because it floats. Idk why I'm just too lazy to tie on floro leader.

I did hear it is thicker than normal braid but a flouro leader is no prob.

Platypus has been making the world's strongest and best fishing lines since 1898!  They are responsible for many of the world's most impressive fishing records.

Ordinary braids float, which usually is not a problem, but when fishing with light lures or bait, it's difficult to get your line into the strike zone and have it stay there.  Platypus Sinking Braid has been designed to fix that issue.

Platypus Sinking Braid is braided using gel spun polyethylene fiber blended with the addition of denser high tenacity fibers.  This results in near zero stretch for ultimate sensitivity - feeling every bite, tap or bump, as well as depth control that no other line can match.

When anglers need every advantage they can get, Platypus Sinking Braid delivers!

The Platypus fishing lines have always been the line to use for anglers chasing sport and game fishing records.  Proving itself with OVER 600 IGFA and ANSA records,Platypus lines offer confidence that no other line in the world can do!

Advantages of Platypus Sinking Braid:

Engineered slow sink
Not weakened by sunlight
Exceptional strength to diameter ratio
Phenomenal sensitivity from near zero stretch

Spiderwire has had a sinking braid called 'floro-braid' for quite some time now. It's nice. I use it every season.
