steve a Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 do you need a sticker on a 2 man bass boat? like a buster boat. im going out on a state lake and i cant find anything on this. dont really want a ticket. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted June 3, 2006 Super User Posted June 3, 2006 If you plan on paddling .... no. If you plan to use a trolling motor and/pr a small outboard .... yes. At least that's the rules in KS. Quote
Ben Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Same in GA, pretty much if it's propelled by anything other than paddles, it needs a registration. Quote
Team_Dougherty Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Ditto for PA. If it has a motor it needs to be registerd. If you launch it at a state park you need a launch permit anyway. At that point you should just register it. Paul Quote
steve a Posted June 3, 2006 Author Posted June 3, 2006 any idea how much the fine is? I dont think i can get it registered by tommorow morning. I just got it yesterday. by the way im in oklahoma Quote
Ben Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Check with a dealer they should have the forms. Don't know how Ohio does it but here you fill out your registration form, tear off the bottom, mail it and a check and use the bottom as a temp until you get yours back. I can guarentee you the fine will be much greater than the cost of registering it. At least take your bill of sale to prove you just bought it, but most game wardens don't cut you any slack. Quote
Team_Dougherty Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 Here you go http://www.boat-ed.com/ok/handbook/register.htm Wow in OK you also need to register your motor Paul Quote
Ben Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 That also says you are good for this weekend as long as you have your bill of sale, they give you 30 days from time of purchase. Quote
fishing4life Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 in tn you have to reginster anything with an elc, gas, etc and we dont get 30days Quote
