3rdDon Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 I must've been a good boy this year! Got 3 months of LTB XL coming my way, some good pliers and line nippers, a compact scale so I can stop guessing the weight of my fish and a cool little binder type organizer for soft plastics. Cant wait to get on the water this weekend and put this stuff to use Belated Merry Christmas to y'all! 1 Quote
Josh Smith Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 My wife had a rod rack custom built for me. It's really very nice. Her father passed unexpectedly in October, and we inherited several rods and his tackle. Not a lot, but he had a couple of good rods and favored spinning tackle, so I'm rebuilding one or two reels for the wife. One of these setups I remember him using when we'd go fishing with him as teenagers. (My wife's brother and I were best friends since age 10.) I'll post pics when I get a minute to set the rack up. Regards, Josh 2 Quote

XpressJeff Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Sorry, will do shortly! WX has been scrappy here! Going Wednesday to break in the motor on High Rock lake. After moving here from Wisconsin I still can't believe I am going out on " soft" water in January! How cool! Quote
clark9312 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 I came out pretty good. I got a bps gortex 100mph suit. I'm excited for this early spring to use it. Even got the gloves with it. Between my birthday and Christmas I recieved 275 in gift cards to bass pro. I stopped in at one on my way to Tennessee and told my self I was going to stay within that 275 dollar budget. I bought nothing but tackle and the total bill was over 400 lol. I just can't help my self. 1 Quote

Coonedawg Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 I was able to hook my 8 yr old Nephew up with a tackle box full of stuff. He is finally getting the fishing bug. The old tackle box was the first box my grandpa gave me when I was about his age. Figured we could make it a family tradition. He flipped out when he first opened it on Christmas Day. Santa also brought my little girls and youngest sister their first tackle boxes as well. Santa was also good to me. Custom painted Bull Shad Santa also left a new fishing rod under the tree for each of my daughters. 1 Quote
Jacob Phelps Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Recieved a 3-month subscription to Lucky Tacklebox. Going to have a lot of new lures to try once the ice melts. Quote
