This is a question for the smallmouth guys, I live in Missouri and there are many Trout springs that are great for smallmouth. In the summer we use jigs and soft plastics, but now that it is in winter, should i be using the same jigs or should slow down and use soimthing different? its going to be 60 the day we are going so will the water temperature be a problem if its coming out of spring, with the water being ice cold anyway?

You're not talking about in the park, are you? If you are, PM me please. I have information I'd rather not share openly on that, but the river, stay above or below the trout park, fish the deepest hole with good cover in every mile of river. Beyond that, there's people who have spent decades finding the right holes, baits and times.
