The reel he used is serious money. $500 is the cheapest I could find it at. Normally runs between $600 and $700. No chance of me trying that reel out.

Imagine being able to spend 1500 on a Steez setup??

He caught the record Spot on his "Cody Meyers" signature Daiwa rod, filming a TW ad, think that should help sell a few sponsors products!

Exactly, good for him. He's also featured on FLW's Circuit Breaker. Dude is getting it done right now!

Apparently Tim Little the CDFW warden also submitted a 11.0lb Spotted bass for IGFA approval for another angler Wes Roberts on Dec 27 2015 caught a Siebert jig as I recall.

I'd pee my pants and fall out of the boat. I bet you can't park the truck and trailer anywhere around that lake right now. A new largemouth state record was set here in Tennessee last year and I heard you couldn't find a place to park on Chickamauga. I bet they are beating the water into a foam in California.

Yes - :occasion18:

Bullards Bar Reservoir ~ It is a large reservoir in northeastern Yuba County, California, at an elevation of 2,000 feet in the Tahoe National Forest and about 30 miles northeast of Yuba City, California.

That's one hefty fish. Good for him. I haven't tuned into this season of Corcuit Breaker but will do. Last season turned me onto Mark Daniels Jr. whom I like very much. I just wish they released episodes more often/on a more regular basis. They seem sporadic and can sometimes be awhile after the tournament they filmed them for is over.

I thought it might have been Bullards Bar.  Couple of my buddies thought it might have been Oroville due tot he video (the portion of the lake shown in the video looks very similar to Oroville).  Anyways, thanks for the info.
