Anybody tell me the differences and if the more expensive reel is worth the extra cost. I have 3 lews reels I'm looking at. BB1, Tournament MB, Tournament Pro G.

I have been using the lower end laser lews reel and enjoyed it but it's time for an upgrade so I was looking to stick with lews and have narrowed it down to these 3

Everyone seems to praise the MB for the price.  The BB1 is just better if you are bombing crankbaits and want a wider spool to hold more line.

At over $100 you're getting an aluminum frame and spool in all three of them. Brake wise, the BB1 has a 6-pin centrifugal brake, as does the TProG (with an externally adjustable dial on the side). The MB has a combination braking system, with a 4-pin centrifugal and a externally adjustable magnetic brake. I've also been told that the MB is good to use in brackish water.

It is worth the extra cost your going to get a stronger smoother reel. It's going to be a pleasure to fish with, but you don't need it but I think it's worth it.

The Pro-G should be awesome.  I have the Tournament Lite, discontinued from a year ago.  I added the 95-mm carbon fiber handle to it, but that 6-pin ACB centrifugal braking system on the G (and the Tournament Lite) is phenomenal.  You're not going to go wrong with any of the Lew's you mentioned, just a matter of preference.
