Super User deaknh03 Posted December 12, 2016 Super User Posted December 12, 2016 you know your management team and ownership absolutely sucks when you give the coach an extension, then fire him 1 week later, for doing the same thing he has done all along. 4 Quote
Yakalong Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 I have no sympathy for a team that will leave its fan base and then have the nerve to go back Quote

Super User Gundog Posted December 13, 2016 Super User Posted December 13, 2016 The firing was well overdue. People have been wondering for the last 3 seasons how long will it be before the ownership cans Fisher. Quote

Apparently the extension happened in the offseason..they just waited to make it public. Quote

Super User Redlinerobert Posted December 13, 2016 Super User Posted December 13, 2016 If the Rams offered him an obscene amount of money, I think he'd consider it. Then Paul Allen would reach in his sofa for spare change and match it. 1 Quote

Super User scaleface Posted December 13, 2016 Super User Posted December 13, 2016 Fisher probably asked to be fired . One more loss and he would be the losing-est coach of all time . As a former season ticket holder all I can say " what took so long? " . He gives up too easily . 3rd and 15 , he would run the ball almost every time . Punt then let the defense take over . He wouldnt even try to get a first down . He would make a fine Junior high school coach . Quote

No way the Rams pay him what Michigan is paying him. Plus they wouldn't give him the control he would have to have to run the team his way. That being said,as a die hard Buckeye fan I would LOVE to see Harbaugh leave Michigan cause at some point in the future he's going to be trouble for the Bucks. Quote

He has done the NFL job and knows he will never be in full control. My guess is Rams will get an offensive coordinator from a team and hope he works out. Quote
