For braid line, I use USA braid.  I order shipped direct to Walmart, free shipping and very cheap (inexpensive) but the quality is good.  Around $25 for a 500 yard spool, I like the orange color as it's easy to see and it's made in the USA.  This was recommended to me a few years ago but someone on this site, I think his name was Sirsnookalot? who was very practical in what he used; so I trusted his recommendation and it worked out for me.

For mono, I have used Berkley Triline since I was a little kid - so that's a long time.  The XT is just that, extra tough and will not break until well above the rated strength.

For Floro, I use Seaguar Red label and just for leader, mainly attached to the braid for bass with an alberto knot, but sometimes when fishing for trout with super light line, attached to the mono with a small barrel swivel about 3 feet above the hook.

I only do mainly braid or flouro.  If braid then a flouro lead depending on fish species i'm targeting.  For braid, Power Pro MaxQuatro is thin and strong and for flouro, cant go wrong with Seagur or  Sunline Sniper.

Both InvizX & AbrazX are top notch imo and my go to line.  For inexpensive line, I like Yo-Zuri.

^^This^^ - Power Pro , Sufix , Seaguar braids + mono or FC leader is what I'm working towards for all my outfits . Trying to cut down on pure mono or pure FC spooled on reels with the braid + leader approach .

I love the C21. I use it on 95% of my rod and reels

I don't use mono either. I like little to no stretch. How do you like sunline? I've considered trying that out but it's pretty expensive lol

Try the Sunline Assassin. Its like 10 bucks cheaper than Sniper and super strong.Great stuff.

I really like it. I've used many different brands, most all that has already been mentioned, but to me Sniper is just so much better. It cast's better, has better knot strength, and has less memory and stretch than anything I've tried.

Yes, it is pricey compared to most but to me it's well worth it.

I'll have to remember that when in shopping around. Will definitely give it a try on one rod and see how it goes. I'm religious about re-lining my rods every other trip. Except when my club tournament season is going. Then I re line before every tournament.

I'll for sure add that to my list. Tackle warehouse offers 1000yrd spools of C21 for like $8 or $9. Which is good for when the club tournaments take off for the season since I re spool before every one

Where are you finding assassin for 10 bucks less than sniper? Because that sounds like a website/store I need to go to more often :D

I could have sworn BPS has assassin for 23$ and the sniper for 32.However after rechecking the sniper is 26.So only 3 bucks more.

Braid: Power Pro cause it's readily available if I'm on the road and at Walmart I can pick up a spool. And I've tried a few others such as suffix and spider wire I just prefer the feel of power pro

Flurocarbon: Seaguar Invisx. Haven't tried many Fluro line just this and p-line. Like the seaguar better... might try sunlike this year

Mono: Berkley Trilene.... Used it since I was a kid fishing for bluegill and channel cats so I've just stuck with it
