mferris Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 i got a nasty scratch in my boat the other day.while trying to pick out a backlash the wind blew me in close to shore and i was so ticked off with the wind and backlash i didn't pay attention to what the boat was doing and rubbed up against a cement block resulting in about a 2ft scratch..i know bass pro has a repair kit i can order..i was wondering if anyone has done any repair work on gelcoat ......thanks Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted May 13, 2006 BassResource.com Administrator Posted May 13, 2006 How deep is the scratch? Down to the fiberglass? Quote
mferris Posted May 13, 2006 Author Posted May 13, 2006 i don't think it's down to the fiberglass..how deep would it have to be...i just took a closer look and there is like a very small dent less than probably less than 1/16 of an inch..then about a 12 inch scratch. it's on part of the boat that is black and i don't see any white showing underneath the black Quote
