Which is better for the money? I like the looks of the cheaper on better.

They will both serve you fine. I own the Casitas and it's OK for anything I need to do.  It's certainly not a higher end reel but I like it if I'm fishing somewhere where I don't want to have to be real careful with my gear. The difference between it and the Caenan is primarily the braking system.  The Caenan employs the traditional VBS system while the Casitas uses the newer SVS Infinity.  The Caenan weighs slightly more but not enough to matter.  Personally, I would recommend the Casitas.  They're not too hard to find for close to the Caenan retail price.

Casitas is better the braking system is the same as the curado70 the caenan is good to but has the braking system of a curadoi without the adjustment dial I have the new casitas and I it's one of my new favorite reels rite now I use it more than my curadoi I had the older caenan that was also a really good reel.

What are you using it for? I had a Casitas, cast a mile and felt pretty good, but didn't really feel it was worth the asking price.

I agree to some degree about the asking price of the casitas, after taxes the reel was almost 130$ I think the reel should at least have x ship other than that the reel is very decent but I think it should be in the 100 price point.

I use it for spinner baits, keitechs, chatterbaits and texas rigs. I only payed $80 for it. At that price i love it. Better than my lexa. And way better than my caenan
