New Rod

So I am asking for a new rod this Christmas. I currently have a 6'10" med. spinning rod, a 7' med hvy casting and a 6'6" med hvy.

What rod should i add to my arsenal: A 7' med hvy, a 7'3" med hvy, or a 6'10" med

I need a rod that i can use for crankbaits and treble hook lures but i also need a rod for jigs and pitching into cover

It's gonna be hard to have the same rod to do both but the closest one you have listed would be a 7ft mh maybe one with a moderate fast tip for best of both worlds you could say

Your 7' MH/F should be a serviceable pitching rod, although not ideal. None of your current rods would make a very good cranking rod imo, so I'd be looking for a cranking rod. Something along the lines of a 7' MH/M would work well.

For a crankbait rod, I would get something in the 6'10" to 7' range with a medium power and a moderate action. I fish out of a kayak and I have a 7'4" MM mojo bass glass, it handles lipless cranks, squarebills, and medium divers really well, up to but not including DT-10 or similar cranks. It's a little hard to snap grass off your lure with the longer rod medium powered rod, so I think a 6'10 or 7' would be better OR you could always bump your rod up to a MH-M if you plan on ripping the cranks over grass.

WHEN you are ready for another rod, I would get a heavy powered rod (Dobyns 705 champ is perfect) in the 7' range for 3/8 and 1/2 oz jigs, pitchin, and t-rigs.

Since you already have two rods that will work for jigs, I'd probably look at a crankbait rod as well.
