33 days left in the year. How many days have you fished? How many more do you think you can get in?

No clue....many....five or six days some weeks....zero others...remaining 33 are a bit tougher, what with weather and holidays negatively impacting results

This!

Started the year real strong, in a two month slide to early pre-spawn!

I'm guessing I made about half as many as  @IndianaFinesse  :P ...usually runs between 80-125 days per year for me.

Extended forecast models aren't looking good. Probably down to half a dozen or less trips left this year :(

I've fished SOME 4-5 days a week throughout the year.I have not fished a full day all year.My longest day was 6:30 to 1:30 one Saturday.

Hmm, altogether, i was out on the water approximately 30 times this year give or take. When i finish my boat this winter, i hope to be out on the water a lot more. I probably watch/read something fishing related on a daily basis throughout the year, but am really not on the water that much. I really need to fix this.

Enough days to make it one of the best years I have had bass fishing.

Hmmm...that's a tough one to calculate...which is a good thing.

I will try though...

I will estimate 3 weekends a month, 2 days a weekend...I will start in February, so...9 months....

9 x (3 x 2) = ~ 54 days this year

That's a rough estimate...but fairly accurate.

I think I'll get a few day of trout fishing in before the end of the year.

I can only guess, 60+ days. If I said 75 I think I'd be stretching it. I had a few week at trout season that it seem like I went everyday after work.

I feel this was a great bass season for me. Better than expected. Conditions were not great. Lack of rain. Hotter than the norm. Construction going on I a place I like to fish.

I would guess 80+ days so far this year and another 6-8 days before years end.  The only thing I know for sure is that I didn't fish as many days as I would have liked to fish!!!!!

So, I just tried to calculate it, and it looks like I spent ~230 days on the water this year. after figuring up launch fees, and fuel to and from the lake, I spent over $9k just hauling and launching the boat. that... That must be why my girl is always so ticked off at me.

you could break your brain trying to figure that one out....sometimes I wonder if a problem stems from too many days out fishing....or not enough...lol....probably both

4 days on Missouri waters, 57 days on my home lake in Southern California.  Most trips were 7+ hours with a few summer afternoon trips thrown in.

With the holidays and a friend visiting in December, I expect to add in another 6 full day trips.

No idea, but much fewer than last year because life. :)

I.e., sons getting older, travel soccer weekends, travel
for mountain bike races...seems to take up more time
every year.

60 - 70 days per year. 10-16 hours per week. I'm done for the year. Below 45 degrees and increasing wind gusts make it unsafe in my kayak.

Good news, there is light at the end of the tunnel and it isn't an oncoming train...

As much as I enjoyed my kids as children, I like them more as adults.

I have gone about 50 times so far. If the weather holds I will be able to squeeze a few more days in.

Easy question.  I don't keep track of how many days I fish, I keep track of how many days I don't fish. This calendar year, I had hard water for (only) 5 days, and was on personal or business travel for 33 days. Today is the 333 day of 2016. 333 minus 38 = 295.

So, 2016 to date, I fished on 295 days.

As you say, 33 days left in this calendar year. I have travel scheduled for 7 days - leaving 26 days available for fishing. I expect to fish all 26 of those days since I don't think there is even a REMOTE possibility of any hard water for the rest of this year...

I've been out all but 3 weekends since ice out and every day of my 10 days of PTO. I will be out this weekend, but this may be it. Extended forecast shows the bottom dropping out in the middle of next week.

I get to fish approximately from April through September, with most of those days coming may-august. 2-3 times per week, usually weekday mornings, during weeks when I don't have too many other obligations in the way. I'm guessing this year was 40-45 days, most of which were 3-5 hours on/in/at the water.

Somewhere around 240 days so far, but most of these were shorter ~4 hour trips rather than all day things.  I've probably "only" fished about 70 all day fishing trips this year.  I'm hoping to get another 20 trips in before new years, as long as the lakes don't freeze up to thick to plow threw with a canoe, which I don't think will happen till January unless the weather turns really cold really fast.
