Super User Oregon Native Posted November 23, 2016 Super User Posted November 23, 2016 Well....how many of you are going to hit the water on Black Friday. It's a day I usually look forward to hitting the water. I believe this year I'll head to Norris and see if any smallies are hungry. Should be pretty quiet with most out shopping!!!! 3 Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted November 23, 2016 Super User Posted November 23, 2016 I will be going after bass while my wife is hitting the stores. It's going to be fairly cool here so I don't expect many people to be out on the water. 1 Quote
Ohio Archer Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Plan on being out all day. Bit cool (33-34) in the morning but 50's in the afternoon. Going to take a variety of tackle for bass, crappie, saugeye and Muskie. Taking a friend who hasn't been out on my boat all year. 2 Quote

Let us know how it goes on Norris. I'm holding out until water temps drop a little there but I'm getting anxious Quote
j bab Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I can't because too many of you will be shopping so they'll need my help (I work at Cabela's) 1 Quote
riverbasser Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I'll be fishing. Plan to take advantage of this drought, the water is clear and low so I'll be doing a lot of scouting for next year and fishing along the way Quote
OCdockskipper Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I'll be fishing, with a couple of turkey sandwiches available to snack on during the day. It will be a comfortable day (high of 72 degrees), but I am actually looking more forward to going Sunday as well when a storm is forecast to roll in. Quote

Super User Darren. Posted November 23, 2016 Super User Posted November 23, 2016 Would be nice to get out, but not sure it's gonna work out for me. I'll definitely try, going to be a balmy 62º here Quote
Super User Team9nine Posted November 23, 2016 Super User Posted November 23, 2016 Will be a bit to the cool side here, but have made it a ritual when weather permits. Planning on it this year. -T9 1 Quote
IndianaFinesse Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I'll be out there fishing, despite the 40 degree weather. At least it'll be warmer than last Saturday when we were hit with thirty degree weather, light snow, freezing rain, topped off with twenty to thirty mile an hour winds. I about froze my fingers and nose off that day. Anyone going fishing on Thanksgiving? 1 Quote
Drew03cmc Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 I wish, have to work Thursday night and Friday night, but Saturday afternoon looks promising. 60 degrees and mostly sunny will be great! Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted November 24, 2016 Author Super User Posted November 24, 2016 I get to go fishing with my son who doesn't get out to much due to life, work, kids, sports and (he loves huntin) I will be blessed.
