Super User Raul Posted November 20, 2016 Super User Posted November 20, 2016 Have flown many times, the only memorable one, Leon-Dallas/Ft Worth/St Louis, why is it memorable ? Son of a gun, 2 hour flight from Leon to Dallas and an 8 hour scale to take the 2 hr flight from Dallas to St Louis ! Hell, if I took a friggin donkey ride from Dallas to St Louis you bet I would have arrived a lot faster, worse thing of all ? I had to do it all the other way around a week later !!!!! Quote
Super User MassYak85 Posted November 20, 2016 Super User Posted November 20, 2016 I'd say 15-20 (if you count there and back as 1). Especially when I was younger (I'm only 19 though) we would visit family a lot, and that usually meant a trip to see one of the grandparents during spring or winter break, and/or flying somewhere for vacation (which was less common). Super User Redlinerobert Posted November 20, 2016 Super User Posted November 20, 2016 Flying to DC in a few weeks for a Redskins game. Quote
Super User soflabasser Posted November 20, 2016 Super User Posted November 20, 2016 One of the most exciting things I have done in my life is jumping off a plane(skydiving). Quote
Alan Reed Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 I have flown hundreds of times and it funny to think that I had never been on a plane until 2002 and traveled for 14 years. Most of it has been for work. The most expensive flight I ever had was for work. Do to company policy I was able to fly Business Class to Australia and it was $14,000. I've been all over North America, England, Austria, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Jamaica and Puerto Rico. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted November 20, 2016 Super User Posted November 20, 2016 Probably around 6 or 7 times commercially. Usually going on vacation with the family. First time I ever flew the plane was landing in Orlando, and we were about as high as the tops of the surrounding buildings. All of a sudden the plane's engines powered back up and we start going up and bank off away from the airport. All of the passengers seated on the plane were looking around trying to figure out what was happening. We circled once and then came back around and landed. As we were exiting the plane I heard one of the crew say that the landing gear was not down all of the way on the first approach. Quote
frosty Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Twice. Both in small props, for about 30 minutes for each flight. Quote
Last_Cast Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Too many times. Im one of the lucky ones that have to wear "airplane ear" plugs otherwise I get sharp pains in my ears.. Flying sucks. Quote
