Yep winters are long. The bass never stop biting, even in winter.

My man cave is full of fishing tackle.

But since I am not crazy about having fish on the wall I must admit that all I have is a clock, mirror and some prints of freshwater fish.

I will try to remember to take a photo and post it.

Maybe so, but those 90 degree days are few and far between the rest of the year,...

 How u doin?

Catching bass through a hole in the ice while trying to keep your rear end warm and not loose your ears due to frost bite isn't exactly my idea of "fun", VT huh ? Don't tell me your lakes don't freeze for at least 3 months.

Scott, that is a classy setup.

You wouldn't have said that if you'd seen it yesterday.

My tackle room is usually pretty empty since a lot of my gear stays in the boat, but I had a fair amount of stuff inside today getting ready for Gaston this weekend.  All of my awards live down here too...Since according to my wife, a living room full of fishing awards is not fashionable .  I like to telework from down here when I can so I can tinker with tackle during the work day (and surf BR).  It also doubles as my storage area for dive gear and gun stuff, which are not pictured...

A simple winter hat bud. never had frost bite on the ears.. also some people make shanties and have small heaters.. and ice fishing isn't just about bass ! You can catch all kinds of species including walleye and musky (I don't think you get to catch too many walleye and musky there in Mexico.

It's alot easier to keep warm than it is to keep cool. You can keep your scorching heat!! No thanks

Don't have a bass room per se however the stairwell leading to the tackle room has been designated as "Bass Alley"

The Antzl collection adorns the walls -  always looking to add to it  . . .

A-Jay, im diggin the canvas prints. Ive got a few fish that ive wanted to replica mount but no good place to really display them. This however is a great idea!  Where do you get the prints done?  Also, third pic from the left, is a beautiful pic. Ive seen it here before and for whatever reason the angle and fish are striking!  Well done.

Thank you - check out The Antzl Project on FB  https://www.facebook.com/TheAntzlProject/

It's all done through there & e-mail.  The O/O Kevin Washburn is a friend of my wife Lynn's.  He's hooked up many a human with outrageously cool canvas prints - they come in many sizes.  It's really only a matter of sending him a quality Digital pic (email) and tell him what your looking for and he'll do the rest.  Prices are fair & a lot cheaper than any type of mount.  Of course it's not three dimensional either.  He's quite a creative guy and a few times we've send him a pic and asked him to "work something up" always pleased with the results.

Check it out.

I once had a fishing room. it was my entire house. fishing rods everywhere, fishing magazines in every corner by every chair, including the throne. tackle was strewn from one end of the kitchen to the other, with my fly vice set up on the coffee table right in front of the tv with feathers, dubbing, and fur everywhere around it. I would always have to tell people "check where you touch, sit, lean, or otherwise make contact with furniture. there will definitely be a hook there." then I got one of those things they call a "committed relationship." now I can't even have my rods displayed in the living room. they apparently do not meet the criteria for "acceptable home decoration...."

Don't have a bass room, but I do have a man cave, where I build rods. The only pic I have is a nice print of a northern my brother gave me. It's not on the wall yet.IMG_0430.JPG

Wow, some pretty sweet rooms, I have no where near the stuff that some of you have. I'm going to show my wife some of these so she'll lay off me a bit.

Anyway here is my corner of the world, every year it seems to grow.

I have a section of my garage that has a 4' x 8' peg board loaded with everything from hooks to line and tons of Lucky Craft baits. Then I have a 5' x 6' section of steel shelving that is loaded with storage tubs of different Yamamoto baits (each tub is a different bait, Senkos, Frogs, etc).

Then I have another section of the steel shelving that is about waist high. I use the top as a work bench for cleaning reels and stuff like that. The lower shelves are loaded with plano boxes full of jigs, hard baits, terminal tackle and then there are tackle bags on it too.

Sure do, It's about 1,200 sqft :) Still a bit unorganized but lots of pictures and plaques, lure building supplies, extra baits, rods and reels, reel boxes, old lures, a kayak, 2 boats, and the tow vehicle are all in there.
