Bank fishing spots in Miami?

I've recently started fishing for bass in Miami I do not own a boat and would like to know any good bass or peacock bass fishing locations from the bank anywhere in Miami.

Most canals and small ponds all over Miami hold peacock, usually big ones.

I few good bank fishing spots in the heart of Miami.

Tropical Park, bass and peacock.

Tropical fruit park in Homestead.

Every canal or man made lake.  Look for ones in business areas.

Behind the Falls shopping center.  Good big peacock area.

Canal along the Turnpike.  Find a spot along the residential area between Miller road and Taminani Trail.  There is access to the canal all along this stetch of the residential road.  Don't park on the turnpike, police will stop.

Go out 41 to the Casino.  After the casino go over the bridge to the dirt road along the canal.  Miles of fishing spots there.

Just a few spots, there are many more!

Listen to these guys. There are times I prefer doing the bank thing instead of launching a boat or kayak. And as to where to fish, in Dade and Broward where I do most of my bank fishing, the best places are anywhere there is water...lol. You might find a secret spot only you have fished, so take some rods, lures, and cooler with drinks and food, and explore.

I use goggle and bing maps and any where i find a body of water i think could be productive i go and explore it..a small kayak or jonboat with a trolling or small gas motor is a blessing .

Lots of good responses . Our South Florida waters are a bass fisherman's paradise and pretty much any body of freshwater holds decent bass.Most of the public parks down here offer good bass fishing from the bank ,so it would be a good idea to fish these parks.

Not looking for big bass just want to take my son out fishing and want him to catch quantity rather than quality fish which one of these spots has the highest population of bass and what lure should I use to catch lots of bass

Do you have to catch bass to have a good time with your son or are you OK with catching lots of panfish? When I was a child I had a blast catching bluegills with my old man.

My kid wants to catch a bass because he has been watching YouTube videos of bass fisherman and he told me he wanted to catch a fish like that and it was a Largemouth bass
