Dypsis Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 I know that there are literally hundreds of places that do custom paint. I have some beat up pre rap warts I bought cheap and looking to have them repainted. Can anyone suggest a few places you have dealt with before and would recommend. Side question - any reason why re-painting them would be a negative (affect the action). Thanks Quote
jr231 Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 One of my best cranks I have is all chewed up... I'm sold it's almost always the action not the color! But I understand why you want them painted.. if it was me I'd find someone local. That way I'm not anxious/paranoid about getting em back. 1 Quote
BobP Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Hughes Custom Baits is a shop that media blasts baits before repainting them. An established company with a sterling reputation. Check out his website. Quote
Scarborough817 Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 why not try painting them yourself? Quote

Don't have any of the supplies and would really prefer just to have it done and over. Family time and fishing take up as much time as I have as is. Maybe someday as that would be awesome to get into. rangerjockey Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 I only use guys here in the Table Rock area ,but I think they understand the wart as well or better than anyone. Tim Hughes of Hughes Custom baits and Rob McGilvry of Fall Creek customs. A couple others would be Dave's custom baits and also Dwain Batey. 1 Quote
