Cody Winter Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Hello all, My name is Cody and I live in crentral WV. I have been fishing since I was little, but just recently got into a lot more in the passed couple of years. The two bodies of water I fish predominantly is Stonewall Jackson Lake and the Mon River. I have just recently purchased a new to me 1992 Ranger 481 with a 175 evinrude and love it. I'm looking to gain a lot of knowledge from the members here and can't wait to get started. Quote

Had a friend in the state tournament catch something around a 9# largemouth. I never have any luck at stonewall my personal best there is 2.5# - 3# and usually just one a day. Quote

I've only been there once for a 3 day trip in the middle of August, so it wasn't the best time to fish, but I know that guys pull 5-7 pounders out of there regularly. The occasional 8 or 9 is a possibility too. Quote

Now trying to figure out what baits best imitate what the bass are eating is my problem. Quote
