basser89 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I have a little 16' jon boat that I set up like an aluminum bass boat. I am in the market for a new boat cover and would like some recommendations on a decent cover (I have been using tarps for the past few years and really want to go back to an actual cover). Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Quote
Bass Turd Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Make supports like this. Really helped me keep water out when I had to store my boat outside. Mine were even taller. 4 Quote
cfalco Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I got all mine, for all three boats, on Amazon did not pay more than 40 bucks for any of them and my boats are much larger so you should be around 30 bucks. Just type boat cover and choose Quote
crypt Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I found a really good one at northern tool supply for about 100 bucks on sale. Quote
jr231 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 I have an aluminum 14 ft Jon boat. I pop the lil motor off and have my brother help me flip it upside down on the trailer. I don't get to use it as much as id like because of my situation. But this works for me. It doesn't have plywood and stuff down though. Just 3 bench seats and 2 swivel seats (that I remove) clipped to the benches. Keeps it from filling up with water. And snow. Works great really. I strap it down and it sits there. But this is just some ol aluminum jon boat man. I got 600 bucks in it with EVERYTHING. So. Yea. Bass turd has a good idea if you have a boat like his Quote
