Normally you want a soft tip with trebled baits so you have a little give in the hookset to keep those trebles pinned.

With jigs you wanna get to the backbone as fast as possible to bury that jig hook in the fishes mouth.

Here is the tip on your rod (same specs and all)

That is with minimal pressure.
