I am visiting someone in a few days whos back yard is on the L-14 Drainage canal in lake worth, connected to lake osborne. Im not to farmilliar to this are because I live in NJ. I think there could be decent LMB and maybe even some peacocks, clowns, and catfish because it is connected to Lake Osborne. Am I correct? I would apreciate if someone could tell me if they have fished there and what they caught. Thanks!

Over the years I have caught a lot of bass and peacock in the canals leading to Osbourne and Ida.  I have not caught a Clown Knife but I don't throw live bait.  I mainly throw senkos, zoom flukes, trick worms, Gambler E-Z swimmers, and swim frogs like Gambler cane toads.  Look for Intersecting canals with some current flowing through the area.  There should be a lot of current for some time since they are dumping water out of Okeechobee toward the ocean.  Clowns you will need live bait or a Rapala #11 jerk bait silver or gold.  Peacocks love them too.  Good luck!
