Decided to tie on a jig this morning at my local lake. I used a 4" ZMan Turbo Crawz for a trailer. The bite has been tough so i went to dip the tail in some JJ's Magic and the stated to disintegrate and fell off in the bottle, had to fish it out and it was dissolving. Anyone else run into an issue like this?

it's a known result. Z-man plastic doesn't play well with other plastics, heat, or the dyes.

Everyone that's tried to dip a Z-Man bait into JJ's.  The only other bait I know that is an issue are the old Keitech spiders that aren't made anymore.  It's one of the caveats with Z-Man.  The other is not to let them touch other baits.

^^^ Interesting!  I did not know that.  Every Z-man bait I've tried has disintegrated.  That Chartreuse tip would is killer on tannin stained lakes up here.

I keep meaning to try yellow RIT dye on z-man stuff but have yet to do so.  I now wonder if yellow food coloring would work once they have the salt washed out.

No, but I did just buy a bottle of JJ's and will be dipping up a storm over the weekend!
