Does anyone own a Falcon Jason Christie Signature Series Casting Rod? If you do would you please leave your thoughts on them.

Posted

I posted the following on another recent question about Falcon:

"I have three of the four from the modestly priced "Jason Christie" series: MH/M, MH/F, and H/MF.  They are light but solid rods.  Graphics are not flashy.  No problems with them.  I think they are great rods.

They are available at Walmart and TW and through Falcon direct.

I got mine this last winter and I am a fairly light user, so maybe you want the input of someone with a longer track record.

To sum up my limited experience with these three: "light but solid, performs as expected."

I have a Falcon bucoo and it is a great rod. I dont think you can go wrong with Falcon.

I have some of the Bucoo, and many of late 80s&90s falcons.

American made, excellent quality rods. I dont think you can go wrong,

With any of them :)

I don't own the Christie's but have some Lowriders and Cara's and love them. Solid, US built rods.

I own a Falcon Bucoo also. I use it to throw rattle traps for stripers and bass. It is a much more versatile rod than that but it serves that purpose great.

I have an Falcon Expert that is about 15 years old and is still a great rod!  I think my Expert used Shikari blanks for the series of rods at the time.
