I was planning on getting a megabass trick darter, but I lost my my vision 110 yesterday so I have to decide weather to replace my vision 110, get a 110 junior, Live-x margay step-cat, or a trick darter.  I assume the trick darter or step-cat would be the best one for numbers of fish, but maybe the vision 110 would have better drawing power?  Or maybe the 110 junior would be a good compromise?  I think i'll get whichever one you guys think would be best for numbers of bass, since that's usually my goal in the fall and winter.

I use the Luck E Strike STX Jr when I need a finesse bait and it works well.

I would suggest you go with the vision 110 for both numbers & quality. If you are fishing deeper water go with the 110+. it dives about 3-5 feet deeper than the regular 110 if used on light braid with a leader.

I always liked the Pointed 78 but there is one I'll get flak for but it works. The Lucky Strike RC STX in the smaller size, it is inexpensive and catches fish consistently when you need a smaller jerkbait.

Of the baits you mention I've only used the Vision 110. It is a very good bait for both numbers and size. That thing just gets bit.

For small jerkabaits i like the LC 65SP but it doesn't get bit better unless thats what they want, the Vision 110 is a killer lure and so is the JR. It's nice to have all the bases covered as far as size goes.

I got hooked on jerkbaits with a x rap xr08. Lots of numbers, nothing of size though.

I also like the 65 pointer but didn't list it since it wasn't mentioned by the OP. They're a killer bait for big crappie and trout as well.

For numbers a rapala x-rap 06 is hard to beat. They are like a ultra light type thing or light spinning but they catch fish of all species and lots of them.

Thanks for all of the reply's guys!  I decided to go with replacing my vision 110 with the same model, and I found an awesome deal on a pointer 78 so I picked that up to.:)

Dynamic Lures J spec is a 3.25, 5/16 ounce beauty with a great erratic action, but not as wild as an X rap. I also really like a pointer 78 and X rap 8 for finesse jerkbaiting.
