Hello again,  Yesterday and today I went to Fortuna Pond.  Water +- 55 degrees.  Yesterday there was no bite as posted in my introductory post...I did catch a green jerk bait!  Today there were two bites.  One caught by an old man down a ways, +- 10 in. Bass on a 2.5 - 3 in purple/silver jerk bait with three treble hooks.  The second bite was by myself dragging a purple/black worm.  It  looked to be a little bass when it jumped out of the water and spit my hook. =[  Today though my daughter ask to go fishing.  Its was her first fishing trip.  She looked to be doing well but as you can see in the picture when giving suggestions she had some choice words... and a fist.  lol  Sadly though, not one sunfish bite...  Till next weekend, maybe I will  take the boat out to Lake Mittry or Lake Martinez.

I live out in phoenix and plan on towing the boat to martinez or mitry. I love throwing frogs and big swim baits and i know both of those are good frog lakes. Cant wait to get back from this deployment. Better luck next time!

Better luck next time. At least you got to spend some quality time with your family!
