Has anyone used the cal coast fishing cali clips?  If so what were your thoughts on them?  Have a couple of rods that need hook hangers and was going to get the old stand by fuji keepers, but i saw these and though they were interesting.

thanks in advance!

i haven't pulled the trigger just yet.... they look like they'd have potential.  i'm really wondering how well they'd stay in place on the blank and not be prone to sliding back and forth....

The Cali Clip has been around for several years now and work good for lighter drop shot weight to 3/8 oz., heavier weights tend to slide the clip on the rod blank.

Also take a look Eye Surrender drop shot wrap with Velcro that wraps around the rod handle to hold drop shot weights. I use ES lure wraps for my treble hook lures, swimbaits and now drop shot and pleased with the product.

When I add a hook keeper to a rod, I use this one:

The Cali Clip is a drop shot weight keeper that is removable. I see the over size hook keeper could double as a weight holder.

The reeltimedesign keeper is removable also if you use the rubber tape.

Who would do that unless they didn't like it?

The over size hook holder is perfect for big swimbait rods, you can locate where you want it.

Pretty simple, you have the option to do it permanent or temp. I have done it both ways with the ones I have.
