I was wondering if most of you guys use name brand soft plastics or buy generic bulk?  Do name brands work better or is that a hype?  I buy in bulk alot except for senkos and have great success.

I mainly use name brand but I do use some things in bulk. The only problem I have with bulk is if you buy something and then don't like it. Then you have to eat it. I do like to buy my line in bulk when possible though.

The plastics I don't make myself I buy from Ztackle.com.  I buy hooks by the 1000 from Shorty's.

I use the name brand stuff.  I try to watch for sales and coupons.  I have been buying Senkos for around $4.00 a pack at Dicks.  They are usually $5.99 a pack.  When they go on sale they are 20% off, I will buy 11 packs and use a $10 off a $50 purchase coupon.

I buy a single pack of a name brand.  If I really like it then I will try to find it in bulk (name brand bulk though, not knock-offs)and buy it, if not, I go back to the place and buy all of the singles I can.
