Hi, just curious to see what everyone uses when it comes to tube jig heads. Standard, heavy wire, light wire, goby style, fat heads, and so on and so on! I throw 2.75inch in the spring and 4 inch summer through fall. Any and all set ups welcome!!! Thanks guys and girls! Tight lines!!!

I like the Bite Me fat heads.  The hook is too small in my opinion but they're one of very few heads I've found that go up to 3/4 oz.  I like SK tour grade tube heads as well.  I'm normally using 3.5" to 4" tubes with these heads.  I haven't really found anything I like for sub-three inch tubes though.

I like the Stupid Tube heads by Secret Lures (some other companies make similar heads), that make it easy to rig weedless.

I mostly fish the zoom 3.75" tubes. I pour my own standard style tube jigs. I pour on the matzou Aberdeen sickle hooks. They are extra sharp and can be straightened out if snagged. I use 4/0 or 5/0 depending on the weight of the jig.

I use three styles of jigheads.  A standard tube jighead with the 90degree line tie and light wire hook. The other two have the 60degree tie, one with a light wire hook and the other with a thicker, EWG hook for stupid rigging.  Those two are used for dragging/swimming presentations.  I don't use tubes under 3.5in. so I can't offer anything for the shorter ones.

I pour my own and use standard wire.
