Pro bass anglers don't live and fish in a vacuum, like everyone else they keep on top of new products, techniques and presentations by trying things out and practicing with things. MLF anglers often use whatever works to catch enough bass to qualify for the next round. The majority of MLF bass are often "keepers" that just measure 12" and weigh about 1lb., perfect size for small finesse lures like the Ned rig, drop shot, split shot, ball and dart head jigs with finesse soft plastics.
