Bryanr Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 I like to skip 3/8 oz jigs under docks and around laydowns. Anyone have a suggestion for a stout baitcasting rod that's 6'8", 6'9" or 6'10" ? My 6'9" Veritas isn't strong enough when I hook a good one way up under docks with pilings for support. I get lots of bites and some really big ones but Im struggling getting them out to open water. Bryanr Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 Is the tip soft enough to load up with a 3/8 oz jig? Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted October 11, 2016 Super User Posted October 11, 2016 St. Croix Mojo or LTB 6'8" MH/F Worm n Jig Rod. They have a nice soft tip so you can skip and they have plenty of backbone. Quote
