Pond fishing in the fall

How should I go about catching a big bass in a small 1 1/2 acre pond in Ohio around mid October 

The biggest bass are usually caught on 5 inch senkos wacky rigged or Texas rig should I use the same thing as I would catch them in the summer or should I use faster moving baits

I fish ohio as well. And frequent many ponds. I've still caught on senkos and dt hula grubs. Have you already caught the big bass in this specific pond this year ? There is a pond I hooked and landed a 24" largemouth twice this year about a month apart(around June) I have visited the pond again about 5 times since then including once yesterday. And havent seen her. But this particular pond is almost 3 times the size of the pond you're talking about. 

Timing is the most key. I'd get out there not really bright and early, but as soon as it starts to warm up they will be closer to the shallows soaking up that sun and chasing prey. I'd say the mornings would be easier for you to locate the fish than it would be at night. 

The bass can become conditioned to your lures. So I would try and use something that you haven't much this summer. Whether that's a jerkbait/spinnerbaits/fluke/ I suggest a soft bodied paddle tail swimbait if you haven't tried yet.

If you were to bring me to this pond. I would try these baits. 

Senko 5" - wacky and t rigged weightless 

Dt hula grub- weightless

Jig with a rage chunk. Green pumpkin and brown. 

Rapala x-rap 07- probably olive/white and then a black/orange 

Keitech fat impact on a keel weight hook

Pop-r 

And at night a jitterbug. 

Most colors and retrieve techniques would depend on conditions.

It is Town and Country campground that I fish at there has been multiple bass over 21 inches caught this year I caught one bass 21 inches on a white spinner bait in may and the other bass and the other bass have been caught on senkos either wacky rigged or texas rigged  as far as I know the biggest bass that has been caught there was a 24 inch 8 pound bass on a wacky rigged senko there is a lot of weeds I the pond but are going away now I have not tried a swimbait what color should I get and should i work it near the surface, near the bottom, or in the middle of the water column and should I throw it in the shallows or deeper water, Should I fish faster moving baits I was thinking of trying 12 inch ribbon tail worms and 7 inch senko

One that mimics the forage. I'd try grey and white. And then one that resembles a bluegill in color. I've tried larger senkos and never had much luck. 

Various retrieves. I like to hover it just over the bottom first. And then I like to hop it with a yo - yo retrieve. Before you give up on it try burning it just under the surface. 

Try the jig and rage chunk. It will catch year round. And is fairly weedless . 

Ribbon tail worms are awesome. I like culprit red shad and tequila (it's a purple/almost black laminate)

Do you fish the pond regularly? Is this the main place you fish ?

I try to fish there as much as I can but my parents don't go there that much I've only  been there 4-6 times this year but I also fish at Coe lake a lot

Do you have a driver's license ? I wouldn't want to limit myself to a 1 acre pond all year.. how do you get around coe lake. ?

I'm only fifteen so I can't get my drivers license till summer so I either go with my friend or my parents take me
