I'm a huge fan of the Ned Rig, it's been one of the most productive baits for me this year.

Now I see that Z-Man released the Shroomz Finesse Jig at ICAST. Has anyone used these? Any feedback on them?

I picked up a couple in black and blue and pong scum. So far I have had some decent luck with them in some creeks and rivers for smallies. Where I would typically be throwing a ned rig, I will implement the shroomz finesse rig here and there. I recommend adding a trailer of some sort. I will use a zoom tiny chunk trailer and that seems to seal the deal. I would also recommend checking out the zman finesse tubes. I have become a fan of those as well.

I have a few of the Shroomz and I must say the hooks are pretty light. I've just put the TRDs on football heads instead.

I use the heaviest Shroomz and a Med-Light setup and have caught some nice bass in as deep as 10 fow.   To me that small profile flies through the water making it work "heavier" that it is if that makes sense.

I have a pack or two and have caught some smallies on them when I fished them last.  My plan is to use them in the fall/winter when wading small rivers.  The small sized Zman Batwings work well as trailers for them and give a nice slow fall rate.  My main concern is how well they will work through rocks, I would like to be able to slowly crawl them along the bottom and would rather not lose too many of them.

I saw these just yesterday on TW.  Are these basically a Shroomz head with a skirt?  Same hook or different?

I've used it and caught a fishy on it with the 1/8oz jig. I like how the skirt flares out real nice on the pause when it's on bottom with the TRD standing tall. It's a nice addition to the ned rig to give a little more varience. adding a skirt to the normal shroomz is a pain so glad they came out with the jig.

I'm definitely getting some of these
