I could see the bait in the water, my tackle bag, rods, and all of the stuff I bring with me in the boat. Couldn't tell what water I was fishing. And then the alarm went off. Super User N Florida Mike Posted October 1, 2016 Super User Posted October 1, 2016 I've dreamed about catching bass in the yard where I grew up( there is a little water in the lawn in the dream) My other recurring fishing dream has me fishing in a deep pool in the lake by where I live now.In the dream you can see huge bass down in there.Something Always happens so I don't catch anything there. 3 Quote

jr231 Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 I have a dream all the time that I get expelled from high school and have to come back and take a test . And for some reason I'm very nervous in the dream. Horrible feeling it's kind of like a nightmare .. I'm not sure what it means but I graduated in 2010 and was never held back. Sometimes i wake up and feel like I didn't pass highschool for a split second even though it's been almost 7 years. Very weird. 2 Quote
Jaderose Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 About 5 years ago I was on a fishing trip in the most beautiful spot you could imagine and was pulling in LM after LM. It was incredible. and then I came out of the anesthesia after being under for approximately 12 hours for MAJOR back surgery. The kind of surgery that had about a 50/50 chance of fixing the issue or leaving me paralyzed. Either way was ok with me because I was in so much constant pain and so worn down from the pain AND the heavy narcotics I was on that it didn't matter anymore. I was in the hospital for a week and have almost no memory of that at all....except for that dream. I can recall it perfectly. I'm not really a religious man but that was about as close to a religious experience as I've ever had. If that was MY heaven and what I have to look forward to in an afterlife, it looked ok to me. 4 Quote

When I was in college I use to have dreams where I would walk into a class and realize that I had missed the entire semester for that class. I use to get up in the middle of the night and double check my schedule to make sure I was ok. 2 Quote

Super User Fishes in trees Posted October 3, 2016 Super User Posted October 3, 2016 What October fishing trip? I'm leaving for the annual Fishing for Freedom event at Truman Lake on Wednesday. I have an interesting time down there every year. One of these years I will figure out Truman Lake in the fall, in the meantime, it is a beautiful time of year when the leaves are turning on all that federal land with no development on it. Quote

This happened to me at least once,when a bearing went out on the trailer tire once while trying to get to stick marsh.We were at the bait shop for several hours! 1 Quote
Super User Ratherbfishing Posted October 5, 2016 Super User Posted October 5, 2016 Lately I've been having this dream where I want to fish this canal but there is an apartment complex in the way and it is like a maze trying to pick my way around and through the apartments. Usually i'm dreaming about frog fishing and see a massive head come out of the slop and slam my frog and I swing on it like my life depends on it, only to slam my hands on the wall behind my bed and wake up disappointed. 1 Quote
haggard Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 Last night dreamed I was fishing off a dock attached to my grandmother's house. Realized I forgot my tackle box and net, but made a cast anyway and caught a 41 inch "yellow trout" which was blue with yellow dots. Wasn't sure if trout had teeth so took a chance and lipped it, measured 41 inches and released and it swam off. Nearby there was a goldfish.. which was entirely black. Dreams are strange. 2 Quote

I haven't used a little, red and white bobber in decades, but when I close my eyes the night before a fishing trip, I still see them going under. I can't tell you how many times I've woken myself up setting the hook. My wife thinks I'm having bad dreams due to PTSD. In reality, I'm just disappointed that I missed the fish. 1 Quote

In the dream I attend class, but most of the dream is about a class that I havent studied for but I signed up for it and I dont know how Im doing with the grade or when it ends. He hasn’t been able to fish for years and he’s been in the hospital for a few weeks now and my dad, step mom, and I have all seen him casting and slowly lifting his rod, lowering it, and slowly lifting again in his sleep Quote
