Look at lake st clair network and Michigan dnr fishing reports which come out on Thursdays.  Yesterdays report stated the following:

Lake St. Clair:  Fishing was considerably slower for all species with limited success for bass, muskie, and walleye.  Anglers found perch in front of the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club in 17 feet and near Buoy 17 when using golden shiners on perch rigs.  The better perch fishing was out near Buoy 31 in 17 to 19 feet with emerald shiners on perch rigs.  A few channel cats were caught in 12 to 15 feet off 9-Mile Road when drifting crawlers on the bottom.  Most of the action on the north end was in the New Baltimore area, the channel straight out from the Brandenburg launch and around Grassy Island.  Anglers caught pike in the New Baltimore Channel in 11 feet with blue and silver lures.  Yellow perch and a few walleye were caught on jigs.  Anglers drifting crawlers took smallmouth bass and perch near Grassy Island.

Water temp is at 72F.

Good luck.

I think we've got another week or so before you can get numbers. You can always find smallies in the river.

I haven't seen the lake, but I'm sure it's a mess. We've had 4 days of rain, and it'll continue this weekend.

I'm going out next weekend and am already worried about the water clarity.

Muskie were caught near the spillway and smallmouth bass were taken in 8 feet near the mouth of the Middle Channel. On the north end, smallmouth bass were caught in 8 feet near Selfridge when casting crank baits. Those moving around had better luck. Largemouth and pike were caught in less than 10 feet in Bouvier Bay when casting crank baits or spinners. Walleye and drum were caught when jigging or trolling a crawler harness around Grassy Island.

Nice work! My season stunk this year barely made it to St Clair about 5 times or so. Got the house ready to sell and still waiting for it to sell :(
