Looking for a trailer for a 12-14 foot jon boat. looking to stay affordable like 500. Thanks

Harbor freight has boat trailers that you put together yourself that would fit that bill, or, with your boat/trailer budget, I'd try to get both as a package.

This is a more money but Lakeside Marine in Harrisburg PA is selling a brand new trailer capable of carrying a 14 foot boat for $729. which seems to be a good deal for a brand new one

I am splitting the costs with my grandfather, i have $600 of my own money on hand and that much or more in the bank, and more in coins. I want to get a 1436 tracker topper and a harbor freight trailer. that will be 1100. and then i would wait until xmas to do any more, because i would have no money. Overall it would be near 2000-2500, which i don't have right now. i may want to add an outboard at some point.

Is this anything that might work. If so I am sure they can work a deal out for you.  Keep in mind it is an older boat and I have not seen it yet. It is a 14 footer with a floor and seats.  It includes a 9.9 hp Merc, a transom trolling motor, and a 5 hp outboard that you could sell or trade for a ued depth finder or other items. If it would help I would be happy to make a call to Lakeside for you.

Thats actually what i am looking for!

pros

price

titles

trailer

motors

cons

i have a 1962 10 foot sears and it is not stable. I am cautious to see how stable it is

not new (this is irrelevant if its in good shape)

its 1 hour and a half away

looks like the pros outweigh the cons, will be calling them tomorrow!

thanks again for the help

When you call tell them that you would really like to splash it out back in their lake so you can see for yourself how stable it is. It would be on my agenda if I was looking to upgrade. Also you might be able to trade in the 10 footer to help with the price if that fits in your plans. They will do all of the title work for you also.  Good Luck. Getting to them  is easy they are located on route 22 off 81 not far from the 83 81 interchange. They sorta hide in a neighborhood very close to where Gander Mountain used to have their store.

nice, i live only an hour and 22 minutes. i probably want to keep the boat unless i can get more than 75 dollars for it, it might be good just to keep up at our lake house. that is a good idea to test it out first!

Especially since the lake is right next to the warehouse they store the used boats in. They can just splash it with one of their tractors.
