Where are the most friendly people in the USA

I agree with the green bay statement. Being a packers fan,  we take several trips a year to Wisconsin. 

The people throughout the state are super friendly people.  I love it there.  Milwaukee is one of my favorite city's to visit.  Big city feel,  but not crowded at all.

Easy.  California central coast.  it's not "LA" and it's not "San Francisco".  The unfortunate part?  Real Estate is definitely not cheap.

From what I've seen, Georgia and South Carolina take the cake hands down.

Not everybody in Milwaukee is nice. It's in the top 30 for most dangerous cities in in the US.

If I can alter the question asked to "What places have a higher friendly folk to jerk ratio?", I would answer the South and the states not on the East or West Coast.

There are nice folks here in California and there are jerks in the 'flyover states", but they seem to be the exception rather than the rule.

The most friendly people I have had the pleasure to meet are from North and South Carolina.

Everyone I ever met at a Grateful Dead concert was super friendly, helpful and cordial.  The same goes for most blues festivals that I've attended.

Memphis Tn sucks big time but in the county people are a lot nicer. I live in Tipton county it's 35 miles north of Memphis where people are a lot friendlier .

vacation in Philly, when you go back home everyone will seem so much nicer!

I've yet to meet anyone from the North Woods of Minnesota that I didn't like.

From my experience, I'd say I've run across the friendliest people in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, as well as states south of there.

Go to any place, listen to the political and religious talk, and then, in a very polite, non-confrontational manner, pretend you are for the opposite of what they believe.  You will then find out how nice they really are.

As far as a state,Id have to say NC,esp.in the country.My moms family's from there.

Overall,its small towns.

My wife and I drove through there a couple of months ago on our way to Naval Air Station, Jax and the traffic was a nightmare with all the construction on I-95. Driving there could tick off the Pope, lol.

I have traveled to southern states a lot for work and other reasons.

SC
VA
LA
TN
GA
FL

These states were all extremely friendly with the exception of Florida. I am not saying Florida in unfriendly, but the parts I have been too don't seem to fit into the whole "southern hospitality" stereotype. I would have to say the friendliest was Georgia. It seemed like every single person I dealt with treated me like an old friend. For someone from NY, at first such outspoken friendliness seemed kind of phony, like everybody was being a smartass. After a couple trips to a couple different states, I realized that the southern hospitality stereotype is actually a thing.

Being ex military, and to many places in the US and overseas, as for the US, I would say NC and Georgia, overseas I'd say Spain, great bass fishing there also,,,,

That's because many of the people in Florida aren't natives,esp.south of Ocala.
