Matt Donovan Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Hello, I'm new to the forum and new to the sport. I'm looking for some good shore fishing spots for large mouth in Southern NH. Any suggestions or links? Thanks. Quote

KlubbaT Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Tower Hill Pond in Auburn NH is a place I used to fish from shore a lot. Little bit of a hike in. Quote
PourMyOwn Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Any water where you see lily pads is worth a cast for largemouth up here. Quote
Matt Donovan Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 Thanks again. I'm learning that there are really no necessarily "hot spots" and I should just find water and cast. Quote
salmotrutta Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Not sure how far south you live but Northwood Meadows State park is good. There's a trail that goes around the whole pond.Nice population of Largies too. Quote
Matt Donovan Posted September 24, 2016 Author Posted September 24, 2016 Well, I've tried Wason Pond near my house a few times. Mostly middle of the day and right before the sun goes down. No luck. Still learning the basics. I think I need to learn more about the fish and their feeding habits. Quote

Any time during the day, wacky-rigged senkos are the most fool-proof bait you can use. Natural colors like green pumpkin are a safe bet. I would recommend trying this when you are looking at new spots around NH. 1 Quote
