Hey guys,

Gonna be heading to Naples Florida this November (heritage bay resort/golf) to be exact.

Would love to know if I can bank fish for bass in that location close by anywhere..? I have no idea where to start...

I was maybe even wondering if I could fish  at the golf course pond At heritage bay if possible?? (Do all Florida golf ponds have bass?! Lo)

if not I don't mind taking a drive to pond, or creek etc...

im from Canada and there are no bass in ponds up here.. From YouTube it seems like every pond in Florida has bass, is that true?! Lol

ill pack a rod if so, if not. I'll just golf!

also, how does it work for a Week long fishing licence even if it's for bank fishing for a non Local...?

thanks!!

Ave Maria University in west Naples has a bunch of lakes in and around the campus.  You can walk these banks and fish a bunch of open water.  Where leather boots there are little critters around our waters, and gators in the water.

Just be alert.:fart:

I lived in Naples 47 years and love to fish on golf course lakes and have caught some big one's over 5 lbs and my biggest one was 7.5 lbs, my only advice is fish late afternoon (after 5). Just pic a golf course and start fishing and just wait tell someone kicks you off which didn't happen to many time for me anyway. Good luck and hope this was helpful

Tamiami canal runs into Naples or close to it. If you follow it East you'll eventually cross from brackish to fresh water where you might find some bass. Good part is that while searching for bass you'll also find snook, tarpon and other oddballs swimming around.
