I am new to using artificials and tournament fishing.  I started three years ago by fishing in a pro-am and fell in love with the challenge as compared to live bait fishing.  I have ridden in Rangers, Skeeters and a Stratos, all of which were good boats.  Two years ago, with the help of the pro from my first tourney, I bought a 1995 Skeeter ZX150.  It is a great first boat, gets the job done, and being used, was an affordable way to break into ownership.  As the previous post stated, any boat that floats is a good boat, even a 5 horse engine is going to save you a lot of rowing.   ;)
