Super User WRB Posted September 8, 2016 Super User Posted September 8, 2016 Fall transition everything can work. My go to lure year around is a jig so it's always tied on. Structure spoons and line thru tail spins are my preferred shad school lures. Swimbaits and deep diving crank baits get a lot work. Always fishing soft plastic worms so it's tied. Lots of stuff to choose from, don't get into a rut, be versitile! Tom 3 Quote

Super User Senko lover Posted September 8, 2016 Super User Posted September 8, 2016 Jig and a lipless crank! 1 Quote
Onvacation Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 I always have a Seibert jig and use GYBC DT grubs for trailers. I've played with trailers a lot and actually have a giant dislike for Senkos, but the DT grubs have been so reliable for me. And I always have a Ned rig available. 1 Quote

jr231 Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 I like the jointed shad raps. with a slow rip and pause technique. The SK shadlicious swimbait on a keel weighted hook. And also a spoon. Just the simple yo-yo retrieve with the right spoon can be deadly. On all game fish. Especially in fall. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 10, 2016 Global Moderator Posted September 10, 2016 Moving baits; buzzbait, spinnerbait, bladed jig, trap, squarebill, spook, and jerkbait. Covering water is usually key. 2 Quote
