My aluminum triton battery/ fuel cell compartment gets rather warm down in there I noticed the other day while out on the water. Should they vent more? Seen a vent top for door but it would require cutting to install. Thanks for any input.  Lee

Make sure your battery connections are tight. a loose connection can get very hot and melt the wiring and or battery connector.

The fuel tank should already be vented. If it gets too hot the fuel will expand and vent on its own.
