Does anybody have experience with this rod? I have handled one and really like the action for what i want to do but also do not want to drop ~$400 on a rod and not like it.

Just got one for myself, it came highly recomended from a friend. I havent used it too much but i like it a lot so far. I found mine on sale for less than that. it is def a little steep and ive heard its only a one year warranty but not sure if thats correct.

They have a few models still in stock on tackle warehouse that are on clearance for $230. I almost bought one bet went with another megabass Rod instead.

I saw the rods on sale at tackle warehouse but I am looking at a spinning rod. The place I work at has some left and they have been there for awhile...

I have the 6-10 MH and the 6-10 M. They are extremely nice rods and among the lightest I have ever fished. As light as any comparable Steez rod, but with way more sensitivity. Mine will be with me for a long, long time.

Very nice light sensitive rods with a very versatile taper that let's you fish many different techniques. They do only have a one year warranty. A lot of the models are being discontinued according to the shimano rep on tackletour so I wouldn't pay retail. My buddy got a frog version for like 230 shipped off fleabay

I'm looking for the 6'10 M casting rod for jerkbaits. Tackle warehouse doesn't have that model in stock unfortunately. I've heard the 6'10 Medium has a fast tip initially then gets pretty moderate once you hook up. How would you describe it?

It fishes larger jerkbaits like a Vision 110 just fine and it loads well with a fish on. But it is a little stiffer than I prefer for lighter, smaller treble hook baits-except squarebills around hard cover and 1/2 oz. rat-l-traps. It works great for a 3/8 spinnerbait/chatterbait. I'm actually looking for the 6-10 ML for lighter baits like a #11 Rapala floater.

I have a 72M casting that I got about a month ago but have not fished yet.  I am thinking maybe adding a Metanium MGL to match it, or even another Curado 70.  Maybe the Scorpion 70 would match too...or even a Chronarch Ci4...man oh man...too many choices. :) I hope this rod is pretty versatile from spinnerbaits, light jigs (3/8oz. and under), vibration/spybaits, even jerk baits.  They are a beautiful looking rod and seem like a good rod at the sale price they are at.  I hope this helps and good fishing!

Like Tim I have the 610M. I use it for jerk baits. Paired with a Core 50Mg7 it just floats in your hand. Ive thought about selling itbecause I don't use it that much but every time I do I get that wow factor again. The reel seat is great, the foam is nice, plenty sensitive. the 610M is a little more stout, almost a MH. Suposedly the 66M is a lot different.
