Mine is easily a squarebill.  I get pretty good luck with both the KVD 1.0 and the Rapala Crankin' Rap 3 but I throw the KVD more often so it takes first place.  Image result for kvd 1.0 db craw

"DB Craw" works pretty well for me in semi-clear to muddy water.

Cotton Cordell Big O in natural crawdad. I fish a lot of muddy, high water and where I fish is rocky so this really works.

I will preface this by saying this is for river fish which rules out a lot of baits.

Bandit 100 has been my top producer over the years. The SK 1.0 along with the mini 3 and the newer SK shallow SB have done well for me too. The larger SK square bills really have disappointed me though, the smallies just don't like them or I am fishing the wrong. Others that do ok, scatter rap crank and the smallest size of the old Luhr Jenson Brush baby, I got a ton of them for like a buck a pop a long time ago.

Scatter rap deep in any of the craw colors has been an awesome producer for me. It seems to be a great all species bait too, have caught saugers, walleye, pike and musky on them.

A popper that I dont know the brand . It wasnt very well made as the rear hook hanger eventually pulled out ,but it sure caught a lot of fish .

My fav hardbait for smallies... XD3 of the DT10. Either one plain out catches fish!

@scaleface youre probably thinking Rebel, their hook are literally the worst!

Its not a Rebel . I still have the lure and fish it with a dressed belly hook only .

Storm original wiggle wart in any of the craw colors. I honestly seem to catch just as many on the new ones as I did on the pre rapala ones everybody goes crazy for. I rarely fish the pre rap ones except the ones I've already used a lot that are all scraped up from grinding rocks and catching fish. I save those for tournament days
