Currently using a  7 foot mh carbonlite fast action and i like it.  was thinking of getting a second rod that is 7,2 or 3 in length to cast further.   looking for recomendations on what i might go with.  Under 200 please

I use a 7'7" Daiwa Zillion rod and I  really like it as my swimbait rod. I bought it on Ebay for right around $200.

I use a Dobyns champion 734c for small swim baits. It's a little soft for what I like. I wish I'd have gotten the 735c. You can throw them far on a 3/8 head.

St. Croix Avid 7' Medium fast. Best Keitech rod I have found.

Really depends on what size heads you usually use.. If I fish them shallow on a 1/8 oz head I use a spinning rod.

Out deep on a 1/2 oz. head, a Powell 734.

I throw a 3/8oz Dirty Jig Swimbait head, on a Dobyns Extreme 744. I was using a Champ 734 but, I like the little extra length and sensitivity. If you look around you can find a used one for around your price.

Depends on what weight heads or weighted hooks you like to throw. Some companies I'd use a medium and some a mh. I like a rod with some tip action to load and cast well and a lot of backbone because I fish them in cover and/or river current a lot. I use a few different rods within your budget. I use a tatula 7'1" mh/fast I got off Sportsmans outfitters for 110 shipped. Very nice rod with lots of sensitivity that can be used for many other things. I also have a Fenwick aetos in the same length and power that isn't quite as powerful as the tatula, but was on sale for about half price last I checked (may be sold out now). I paid almost retail for mine and am very happy with it. Again a very cleanly built sensitive rod that can be used for lots of other stuff. I also have a 13 *** black that fishes like a much more expensive rod. Mine is a 7'3" heavy I use for heavier and larger paddle tails and other Deepwater techniques, but the mh should be great for what you want to throw. The other rod I would suggest is a 7ft hammer mh. These are very nice made in America rods that fish way above their price point and have a little slower action than some fast action rods but lots of backbone. It would be a good fit for paddletails or about any moving bait. Another rod thI'd shop around and see what deals I could find and maybe even look at used, discontinued or clearance rods. You might find a rod that retails for much more that fits your budget. There are tons of good rods in the 100-200 range now and a lot of times the decision comes down to grip material and components and also the companys reputation and warranty or lack of.

May want to look at the iRod Gen 2. They have a 7'2" swimjig/balded jig model that would work real well for a light swimbait set up. The model number is 723c, and it costs $150.

If you are just looking to cast further I don't think a rod that is 2 inches longer will make a big difference,

As stated above, I agree with the notion that 2" longer will not make much of difference (all other things being equal). Most rods are not created equal so recommend one over another depends on a lot of varibles that you have yet to provide. Without that info, a general recommendation would be to go with a quality medium power rod as a rod of this type will generally be easier to load during the cast, but not all rods are created equal and there is no standard (that I know of) accross manutacturers. Again, it's not the length that will achieve your goal, it's the composition, taper, and total weight of the object being cast that will make a difference in cast length...
