I will be fishing a tournament in my lake that allows live bait. There will be two people in the 1256 Lowe V Hull boat. we modded the boat to have a casting deck on it. I want to have a way to fish live bait and for it to be out of the way of our lures. any help is appreciated...

Not exactly DIY but these are very good quality.  I have six in my boat.

I've made DIY rod holders with PVC pipe, but the above holders are far better.

I ended up taking a milk crate and zip tying 4 12" sections of 1.5" pic, work realy well with the minnow bucket to weigh the crate down, i placed it at the front of the casting deck!

I will be posting four of these, I think, that mount to the inside below the gunwales.  They came on my recent project and I do not need them.  They will be available for postage.  There are no rod holders, just the mounts themselves.
