Tracker 175 livewell help

Hi everyone. I am new to the forums and just bought a 2003 tracker 175 and all of the labels are not readable on the switches. I am trying to work the livewell and am only having luck getting it to fill and empty but nothing else. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have any idea if it supposed to do more? Does it have 2 screens inside the livewell which would indicate a recirc pump?

It only has 1 screen which appears to be drain and ir has a overflow at the top. I have found the timer and tested it and it is bad. I am still lost on 1 switch though it is beside the ignition switch. I have figured out that the other 3 are aerate, bilge and lights.

If your livewell is like my friends 2005 it just has a pipe you put in the drain and the livewell fills up to the top of that and drains. (At least that's what I remember It's been a while since I fished with him). The 4th switch is most likely an accessory switch. It's there so you can turn on and off the power to a locator or something like that. If it's a momentary on and it pops back to off when you let go it's for the horn. I don't remember off hand if they used an actual toggle switch for those or just the small push button.

It will just constantly add and drain water. Just let it run while in use, it will keep the water well oxygenated.

My Tracker has three switches to the right of the steering wheel. When turned on the red light glows.

The first one on the left is the Aerator pump and if you push the top of it, that is Auto Timer/fill. If you push the bottom of it, that is manual fill. Middle is OFF.

The middle switch is to turn the bilge pump ON or OFF.

The right one is for the navigation lights, push the top of the switch for bow and anchor lights, push the bottom of the switch for anchor light. Middle is OFF.

There is no recirculator pump/switch.

 

There is an accessory switch on the left of the steering wheel by the key switch, ON or OFF

Your boat sounds like my 2007 Triton. You simply put the drain plug in the bottom drain of the livewell and turn on the pump to fill it. It has an automatic overflow drain in the top which keeps it from overfilling. You simply run the pump constantly to hold fish. As the overflow drain flows out and the fresh water is pumped in it oxygenates the water keeping it rich for the fish. There should be no type of aerator switch that will bubble the water. It is a recirculating livewell rather than an aerated livewell.  If your pump has a hard time starting to pump water, simply turn on your pump and run the boat in reverse for a second or two, it will begin to fill and should work after that. It took me a few days to figure this out. I used the word simply too much.

@RHuff My boat a SeaArk not a Tracker has 2 live wells my back one has the ability to recirculate fresh water off of a controlled switch and you have the aeration capabilities on a separate speed control switch. So I can exchange water or aerate as necessary. So it is possible his has both as mine does.

This makes it where I can have my boat on the trailer with a full rear live well and still oxygenate. Works great for when your taking a mess of fish home to clean. 

Of course the front live well is just a recirculation type.

My fault, I was referring to the tracker boat. I have a 2007 Triton Aluminum and I'd say my livewell is probably very similar to the 2005 Tracker that was mentioned.

I didn't mean it in a mean way. No fault necessary. I was just saying my boat has both. Possibly another did as well. I have no clue what Tracker has or a Triton, just what my 00' Aluminum SeaArk has.

I recently bought a 2017 Tracker 175TF with 6.5 hours and everything works perfect. I have never had a livewell and this has two. I read the earlier posts and now I'm confused. Front switch has a drawing of water coming in and says Fill & aerate. Switch is marked Timer, Off and Continuous. Aft switch drawing shows water coming in and out (like a circle). It also says Fill & aerate. Switch is also marked Timer, Off and Continuous. To the right of the switches the panel is marked Aerate between the 2 switches. Any clarification will be greatly appreciated.

2017 tracker txw recirculating valve will only pump out when pushed in. If you try to run fresh water on time bilge fills up.

Sorry recirculating valve pumps out whether pushed in or pulled out. Live well overflows into boat.
