I know this isn't the exact same thing but it very well could be in some cases. I've mentioned it in a couple a threads where the OP would state he confronted someone for what ever reason. People now days play for keeps, even when not intoxicated, and you should respect that if you don't want to end up in a body bag or in one of these court cases. Just avoid the idiot and call the authorities if you feel they need attention.

Wonder if Mr. Thomas Mast even cares what a idiot he made of himself or who he endangered. Most likely not.

hope he doesn't get a plea deal and has to actually suffer a bit for his actions...

Northern Michigan authorities take their fish and game management and enforcement very seriously.  So I imagine they're going to take the laundry list of infractions very seriously.

I had an idiot one day decide he hated geese so much by his beach that a 22 rifle would do the trick. Guess he forgot to look for anyone else behind the geese. Never fun hearing rounds cracking pass your head. So who wants to wear a plate carrier fishing. Cannot fix stupid but maybe confine it.

Yet another reason why I love the solitude of a farm pond or small river. I basically have zero tolerance for stupid so it's best if I can avoid confrontation of this sort. It never ceases to amaze me how many people think like this guy,but they are everywhere.

Wait... Weren't we discussing this same kind of stupid on the "strange noise" thread?  Why would anyone think this kind of behavior is ok?

Don't you know that Mr. Mast was leading a Walleye tournament and that those other boaters were encroaching on his livelihood?  That family had an entire lake to fish, why did they have to choose his honey hole?.  Poor Mr. Mast was just trying to earn enough money to put dinner on his family's table, while the interlopers were intent on keeping everything they caught & wiping out the fishery.  It costs Mr. Mast 30 million dollars a year to fish on the American Walleye & Skeetshooter tour and last year he only cashed twice, earning 38 bucks and a coupon for a free ham.

At least I think that is how the argument from some folks goes...

No way, thats ridiculous. Share the spot or come back later.

SO instead you pull a gun out, get arrested and now your honey hole is gone for a long time..lol.
