OCdockskipper Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 Can you imagine what that fish will try to eat when he gets over 5 pounds? Keep the kids & small pets out of the water!! 2 Quote
Super User senile1 Posted August 22, 2016 Super User Posted August 22, 2016 I had one on like that yesterday that would compete with yours, but it wrapped me around a tree and broke off. 2 Quote

Super User Bankbeater Posted August 23, 2016 Super User Posted August 23, 2016 It's always fun to bring in a bait and see a fish you didn't know you caught. Quote

Put a pair of trebles in that and you have a great perch colored Rapala! The reel in my pic is a Pflueger Patriarch and the rod is a Fenwick World Class 5wt. 1 Quote
dallasdb Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 The kids were fishing using 1/4" piece of nightcrawler under a bobber and were killing the little sunfish and this guy. Quote
dwh4784 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I've lurked on this forum for quite awhile, but finally had to register to post in this thread. That one a few posts up on the blue ribbon tail worm made me seriously laugh out loud! Great thread. Here's my contribution. Also one of the last times I fished with trebles in the kayak. 2 Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted August 29, 2016 Super User Posted August 29, 2016 Don't worry man, I've got you beat for personal worst.... 1 Quote
dallasdb Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 How about this one! I hit a log or something submerged and set the hook thinking it was a bite. This guy found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. He ended up swimming away but I doubt he lasted long. 3 Quote
