Wildbillb Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 I am looking for tube jigs with a rattle. I have been using some but the smallies seem to crush that rattle right off the bait. Looking for a new brand to try. Thanks Quote
timsford Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 I usually use mine without a rattle but when i do use one i use the bite me rattling tube jigheads. If the rattles are coming off either wrap them with electrical tape or use heat shrink to hold them in place before inserting the head in the tube. I used to do this with regular tube heads before I found the bite me heads Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted August 20, 2016 Super User Posted August 20, 2016 Check out the Bite Me Big Dude Rattle Jig Head, designed by Mark Zona, enhances a tube bait by providing a bulbous head and rattle feature. The enlarged head anatomically matches gobies, sculpin and other bottom dwelling prey. The Big Dude Rattle Jig Head comes equipped with a 60 degree 3/0 flat-eye Gamakatsu hook. Strong currents and deep water are the ideal conditions to fish your tube bait with the Big Dude Rattle Jig Head. A-Jay Quote

Cracking or dragging, these work. 1 Quote

Wildbillb Posted August 21, 2016 Author Posted August 21, 2016 I had found these just wasn't sure how they held up. So I was looking for other options. Quote

For a heavy weight forward, fast fall rate, with a solid thin wire hook suitable to be fished on light-ish line, this IS the option. A-Jay Quote

A-Jay Perfect. I'll be on LSC in 3 weeks for a long weekend. I'll get some and put them to the test. 1 Quote
