Super User new2BC4bass Posted August 19, 2016 Super User Posted August 19, 2016 Lew's may be introducing some new models, but my MB is very new to me so the love affair hasn't cooled yet. The Tournament MB is a very nice reel now and will still be a very nice reel when new models come out. It is us that think we need the latest and greatest. 2 Quote
YakPirate Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Lew's Tournament MB is new to me still as well .. we are still hot and heavy! But she knows she still needs to perform if she wants to stay in my top 5. Sometimes, i hear them argue in the locker room about who is the new number 1 !!!! ...haha 1 Quote
Ray K Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 I bought both the Tourny MB and the Tourny Lite at the same and can honestly say I like the MB just as much as the Tourny LIte even though the Lite cost much more. Love them both. When properly set up they are both totally hands off casters even with light lures. 1 Quote
S. Sass Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 I've had my Lew's Tournament MB for some time and see no reason to ditch a well built, great fit to the hand, top quality company, perfectly working reel. You know the grass is always greener on the other side until you get there and find it has dog crap all over it. I did score a Tatula on eBay the other day. Just for a similar reason. I wanted to try one just to see if it was all that. I somehow feel its a huge hype on these being the greatest reel known to mankind. Oh I know they must be a quality reel or there wouldn't be the following they have. I just like you wanted to do my own evaluation on the water on my rod catching fish and see if I liked the feel. I will know for myself by this weekend I hope. 2 Quote
Airman4754 Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 My MB's do everything I need them to with zero issues. I couldn't see myself changing them out. 1 Quote
